“HR in Motion” is a company name, and the-w-collection a website of HR in Motion BV, based in Belgium and governed by Belgian law including applicable Belgian and EU consumer protection rules.  References to “the W collection” below also include the-w-collection.art, the-w-collection.be and HR in Motion BV. 

By accessing and using the website, you expressly agree to our terms and conditions and our privacy policy.

Art. 1 Definition of privacy at the W collection

Have you ordered something from us?  To process your order, we need your details to ensure that you can receive your order.  For example, your name and address are needed to deliver your order.

At the W collection, we make every effort to keep your private data truly private. We take care of it and keep it safe.

Art. 2 Definition of GDPR

GDPR is an abbreviation that stands for General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). It refers to data protection. GDPR is the European legislation for processing personal data. The GDPR law defines what is allowed to happen to such data, what procedures are applied and how it is protected.  Your interactions with the W collection are covered by the GDPR Art. 2 Material Scope of GDPR.

the W collection processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and this privacy policy. For further information, questions or comments regarding our privacy policy, please contact us.

the W collection collects and processes customers’ personal data for customer and order management purposes (including customer administration, order/delivery tracking, invoicing, solvency tracking, profiling and sending marketing and personalised advertising).

the W collection only processes personal data.  The processing is done on the basis of art. 6, par. 1 sub b GDPR and is necessary for the conclusion of the agreement between the customer and the W collection.

Art. 4 Lawfulness of Processing

Personal data are processed on the basis of Art. 6.1. (a) consent, (b) a necessity for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or in order to take steps at the request of the data subject prior to entering into a contract.

Insofar as the processing of personal data takes place on the basis of Article 6.1. a) (consent) under the General Data Protection Regulation, the customer always has the right to withdraw the consent on the basis of Art. 4 of our privacy policy and Chapter 3 of GDPR.

Art. 5 Transfer to Third Parties

If necessary to fulfill the purposes set out, your personal data will be shared with other companies within the European Economic Area directly or indirectly connected to the W collection or with any other partner of the W collection;

Art. 6 Retention period

Personal data processed for customer management will be retained for the period necessary to comply with legal requirements (including accounting requirements).

Art. 8 Right of the data subject

Customers have the right to consult their personal data at any time and may correct them (or have them corrected) if they are inaccurate or incomplete, have them deleted, have their data processing restricted and object to the processing of relevant personal data.

Moreover, the customer has the right to obtain a copy (in a structured, common and machine-readable form) of his/her personal data and to have the personal data transferred to another company.

 

In order to exercise the above rights, the customer is asked to:

– adjust the settings of his/her customer account himself/herself; and/or

Art. 9 Direct marketing

Customers have the right to oppose, free of charge, any processing of their personal data for direct marketing purposes. This can be done by sending an e-mail to webmaster @ the-w-collection.be

Art. 10 Intellectual Property Rights

The contents of this site, including brands, logos, drawings, data, product or company names, texts, images, etc. are protected by intellectual rights and belong to the W collection or entitled third parties.

Art. 13 Applicable law & competent courts

Belgian law applies to this site. In the event of a dispute, only the courts of the Antwerpen district have jurisdiction.

Art. 14 The use of cookies
